Delivery and Pick-Up FAQs
1. Order Fulfillment
All Remy's Local orders are subject to product availability. If an item is not in stock at the time you place your order, we will notify you and refund you the total amount of any items that we are unable to deliver, using the original method of payment.
2. Delivery Location
Items offered on our website are currently only available for delivery to addresses in the following New York State counties: New York, Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx, Dutchess, Ulster, Putnam, Greene, and Columbia. While deliveries outside of these counties are currently unavailable, we are actively working towards expanding our delivery and pick-up zones.
Because zones are chosen by demand, if you think your area should be considered next, please reach out!
3. Delivery Schedule
All orders placed by Monday 6pm will be delivered on the following Thursday. Orders placed that time, unless we notify you directly of an exception, will be delivered the following week.
You will receive a confirmation email on Wednesdays with a predicted delivery time window. If there is a time of day that does not work for you to receive your order, we encourage you to email us directly at firstname.lastname@example.org ... we are happy to work with you on timing if at all possible!
Additionally, if for whatever reason we predict there to be a change in delivery time or day, we will notify you immediately, and we promise to work it out!
Please note these are personal deliveries. We do not ship.
4. Order Tracking
We are unfortunately currently unable to provide real-time tracking updates, although we are working towards being able to do so in the future. You will receive an expected delivery window on the Wednesday before the Thursday you will receive.
Most deliveries occur between 3-9p.
If your delivery does not arrive by the end of the day, please let us know immediately at email@example.com.
Delivery drivers will text you at the number provided during check out when they are nearing and / or at your chosen delivery location.
Please provide a valid number that we can text if we need to contact you on the day of your delivery.
5. Contactless Delivery Instructions
All of Remy's Local deliveries are contactless. We will deliver your box on the allocated day of delivery to the address you provided during checkout.
If there is a security code needed for entry, we expect you to either (a) inform us in the "Notes" section of the checkout process, or (b) be on location to receive your package that we will leave on your doorstep.
We are fully committed to doing this in the safest way possible. For our customers' sakes and ours, we kindly ask that you do not come outside to greet your courier as they will be in the process of multiple deliveries.
5. Delivery Costs
There is a $75 delivery order minimum.
There is a $10 fee for all delivery orders under $175. Free for orders $175+
We didn't want to, but we had to.
6. Contactless Pick-Up and Locations
If you select 'Pick-up' during check-out, we will contact you directly to confirm the time and location of your order. We will bring it to your car, or work with you to make you feel as comfortable as possible in the process.
Our pick-up location options are listed at check-out. Currently we are only offering it in High Falls and Kingston, NY, but we are eager to expand this practice wherever it makes sense. For it to make sense, we need a minimum of ten orders in an area that will dependably opt-in for pick-up. If you think that is your area, let us know!
7. Damaged Items in Transport
If there is any damage to the packaging on delivery, or if there is any concern about the freshness or quality of its contents, contact us immediately at firstname.lastname@example.org.
