A Letter From Us
We hope as you read this you are happy, safe, and well-fed. As many of you who have been with us since the beginning know, at the core of who we are and what we are trying to do, is a simple mission: To promote your appreciation of and connection with good food, made by good people.
The last few months have been exciting, challenging, and just like for the produce we bring to you, it has been a time of growth. As we have grown, we have come to understand some of the demands that running a home-delivery business requires, and as such we have made some decisions that we hope in the long run are beneficial for us all.
Primarily, this is the raising of our minimum order requirements ($50 -> $75), and the increase of our home delivery fee ($5 -> $10).
While we understand that in today's age, free delivery is commonplace and we are not your only source for market goods, we believe that the quality of our products and our commitment to supporting you and our community give reason enough for these costs.
Because we don't want this decision to be a deterrent to your accessing our offering, we are working to activate pick-up locations in communities that would have no delivery fee, and no minimum spend. The first of these is for the Hudson Valley, at our new home in High Falls, NY. If you are not able to take advantage of this option, please let us know where you are, and we will work with you to figure out a mutually agreeable meeting point.
We want to additionally emphasize that we are here to work with and for you, so if you have concerns about anything, or perhaps ideas for how we might make this better for you and everyone, we are eagerly awaiting your input.
Thanks for bearing with us, and for your continued support!
Much love from Jake, Dan, Thalia, and Colin
